Core Values
Wellness
Mental, Emotional, Prayer, Physical, & Financial
The United Methodist Church, and Forest Chapel UMC, is committed to the holistic wellness of all people, including mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and financial well being. Examples of our wellness initiatives include intentional faith development and our Produce Pop Up.
Hospitality
Prayer, Bible Study, & Community Outreach
We want to practice radical hospitality. Hospitality grows from earnest witness and invitation to those outside the church’s walls. It means demonstrating Christ-like love to the community around our church. Examples of hospitality at Forest Chapel include our Church Anywhere initiative and the Tri-County S.O.U.L. Ministry.

Relationship Building
Prayer & Community Outreach
In our current environment – political, socio-economic, and cultural – it is more important to build relationship. Relationship-Building is a key tenet for Forest Chapel – we want people to hear, witness, and experience the love of Jesus Christ that comes when we are in community with others. Examples of our efforts at relationship-building include our 9:25 Ministry and our Bethlehem Bhutanese Ministry.
